PaperStone Countertops
PaperStone is a composite surface material that is designed to give the beauty of stone and the strength of steel, with ease of workmanship. Its sleek surface is smooth to the touch with the look of soapstone or slate and is made using a proprietary blend of more than 50 percent post-consumer recycled paper and cashew nut oil resin. Available in 7 colors using 100% recycled paper and 6 colors using 50% recycled paper there are options to suit most everyone. Offered in 30” or 60” wide slabs by 8’, 10’ or 12’ long, it is easy to install and can generally be accomplished with minimal seams. PaperStone creates sophisticated countertops, bars, tabletops and furniture, adding a modern, yet classic touch to any room. Heat tolerant to 350 degrees, stain resistant, durable, unlimited in edge detail, soft, natural aesthetic, Paperstone is a great product for countertops.
The Green Building Center stocks most sizes in many of the colors in the 1” thickness. It is also available in ¾” and 1-1/4” thicknesses. Special orders generally take 4 weeks.
