These tiles are made from 100%
recycled glass, both post-consumer and
post-industrial waste. They come in
typical field tile sizes in a wide range of
colors. Each tile is handmade in the
USA. Because these tiles are made from
100% recycled glass, there will be some
degree of color variation from batch to
batch. In addition, these tiles are all
handmade and there is a slight
variation in size from tile to tile. This
adds a great deal of charm and
character to the installations using
Blazestone tile.

- Fireclay Tile has been designing and manufacturing fine handmade tile for 19 years at our location in
San Jose, California. We use"Old World" methods and hand mixed glazes to create original works of art
as individual as you are. We opened our doors in 1985, beginning with twenty moldings and decorative
tiles, in only ten colors. Today, Fireclay Tile offers several hundred decoratives, moldings, and
architectural trims, in over 250 glaze colors. We are continually developing new designs and glaze
colors, as well as specialized custom designs and colors. We use unprocessed stoneware clays and
minerals. These materials contribute substantially to the natural look of our tiles. The use of these clays
allows Fireclay Tile Inc. the ability to make intricate designs and heavy relief tiles that are as durable as
they are beautiful. Our clays have a high refractory content, which allows the clay to be fired at a
temperature of over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit without deformation taking place.We mix our own
glazes, some of which are mixed from a variety of pre-manufactured nonleaded frits, others are raw
glazes manufactured from oxides and other raw earth materials. Fireclay Tile glazes are produced
without the use of lead. All glaze over spray and waste is collected and recycled into the clays we mix.
We are a domestic company which manufactures its own tiles in Aromas and San Jose, California.

Oceanside Glass Tile
- Oceanside produces four styles of tile all handcast from up to 85% post-consumer recycled glass. They
are semi-transparent, have an iridescent surface, and are available in a wide range of colors and sizes
(mosaic tiles to 8”x8” floor tiles). The Tessera line is available in 29 colors and 3 sizes. Casa California
includes field tiles in several sizes with a full line of decoratives. Minerali is a specialty tile with wide color
variation and a textured surface. Haiku has opal glass with Asian motifs.

- Sandhill Industries glass tile made from 100% recycled glass can be used to tile your walls, countertops, floors
showers or your pool! The unique properties of Sandhill Glass Tile make it a versatile surfacing material ideal for
many purposes. Sandhill Glass Tile may be used for interior and exterior installations on both horizontal and
vertical surfaces, in residential and commercial applications. These environmentally friendly tiles can be
substituted for ceramic and natural stone products in most applications and can withstand normal
fluctuations in temperature and humidity, and may be used in heated areas including pools, saunas, and
steam rooms. In addition, glass tiles are nonporous making them resistant to chemicals and other
contaminants in exterior as well as interior applications. The tiles should not be subjected to thermal shock.
