Bioshield Aqua Resin Stains
BioShield Aqua Resin Stain Finish is a solvent-free water-based, Zero VOC, low-drip, resilient wood stain finish for
interior and exterior applications.
Specifications: Easy to apply, low drip, low splash. Excellent weathering, high bondability, fast drying. Colors are
light-stable and UV resistant. Aqua Resin Stain Finish is based on non-toxic and natural raw materials presenting no
harm to the environment or water ways. The finish is Zero VOC and completely
solvent free.
Application Areas: Aqua Resin Stain Finish is a
weather resistant finish for exterior and interior wood surfaces such as windows, doors, wood paneling and other
architectural woodwork.
Surface Preparation: Surfaces have to be dry, absorbent and free from flaking and cracking. Loose coats of paint
and old finish have to be removed
entirely. Sound previously applied finish coats need to be sanded. Resinous and oily woods need to be
thoroughly cleaned with a solvent before applying Aqua Resin Stain Finish. Aqua Resin Satin Finish does not
contain biocides and will not prevent discoloration of the wood due to fungus.
Application: Aqua Resin Stain Finish has a gel-like consistency and needs to be stirred before use. Apply by brush,
fine roller or sprayer (Airless or Aircoat) at temperatures above 12 C (55 Fahrenheit). Our suggested drying time may
vary strongly due to temperature and moisture contents of air. Apply one thinned-down coat (5-10% of water) for
priming, then two coats full strength. For doors and windows apply three coats full strength. Light sanding
between coats (180-240 Grit) is recommended.
Tools: Brush, fine roller or sprayer (Airless or Aircoat). Wash tools with water and soap immediately after use.
Coverage: 120-150 square feet per liter depending on surface characteristics and wood type.
Drying Time: Depending on temperature and moisture the finished surface should be dry-to-touch after 15-30
minutes, and may be sanded after one to two hours. Refinish after a minimum of one to two hours drying time.
Thinning and Cleanup: A maximum of 5-10% of water may be added for thinning, clean tools with warm water and
soap.
Ingredients: Water, Earth Pigments, Silica, Alcohol Ester, Surfactant, Preservative.

OSMO One Coat Only
One Coat Only is a semitransparent stain suitable for interior and exterior use. It colors the wood but the grain still
shows. This product has an unusually high solids content—85 percent. It covers up to three times as much area as
exterior stains with only 15 to 40 percent solids. Because of its pigments, One Coat Only provides excellent
protection against ultraviolet rays from the sun, which destroy wood fibers by degrading the substance (lignin)
that holds them together. Dark shades of stain offer more protection against UV than light shades do.
Coverage: One liter covers approximately 200 square feet.
Surface Preparation: Wood surface must be clean, frost-free and dry (maximum moisture content of 20 percent).
Old paints and varnishes must be removed. Old microporous stains only have to be cleaned.
On new wood, where possible, apply the finish to all sides of the wood before installation. It's easier and neater.
Application: Stir the finish thoroughly. Don't thin. Use a stiff brush. OSMO brushes are ideal because of their short
bristles. Dip the brush into the well-stirred finish and apply in a very thin coat along the line of the wood grain.
Brush back and forth to spread out the stain.
Drying: Drying takes about 12 hours.
Cleanup: Clean brushes with mineral spirits or the benzene-free OSMO Brush Cleaner.
Storage: Can be stored for five years or longer. Freezing doesn't ruin this product. If the can freezes, the finish may
thicken. But it will regain normal consistency and be ready to use after two or three days at room temperature.
Ingredients: 85 percent solids (the part of a finish that remains on the wood after the finish dries): natural vegetable
oil (sunflower), iron oxide, organic pigments, and white titanium dioxide pigment—all officially approved for use in
the food sector in Germany. This finish also contains water-repellent additives and lead-free dryers. The remaining
15 percent is solvent: aliphatic low-odor mineral spirits that meet the German standard for purity.
WARNING: Spontaneous Combustion Danger!
Oil-soaked materials (rags, steel wool, sanding dust, etc.) may spontaneously combust.
Immerse oil-soaked materials in water and store in an air-tight container.

Safecoat Grout Sealer
A clear, moisture resistant sealer for porous tile grout and other cement-based surfaces. It actually reacts with and
becomes a part of the grout, increasing water resistance and minimizing the penetration of liquids, helping to
prevent staining, and providing a wearable, washable surface. Like all Safecoat products, it is as safe and non-
toxic as possible, formaldehyde free and virtually odorless, giving off no offensive chemical fumes. It dries clear and
without discoloration.

Safecoat MexeSeal
A low odor, water-based, medium gloss clear sealer. It is suitable for use on porous interior tile or masonry surfaces
because it creates a seal that repels water and oil. It is ideal for long term protection against food, oil, and water
stains on residential or commercial floors. Safecoat MexeSeal is non-hazardous and non-flammable, a total
replacement for high solvent products. This sealer is recommended on surfaces such as the following: unpolished
marble, limestone, granite, sandstone, slate, fireclay (brick, tile, terra cotta, pavers), and concrete (brick, tile,
precast panels, cast in place).

Safecoat Watershield
sealing and providing a protective barrier against water migration, it helps to harden, dust proof and control
efflorescence in masonry surfaces. It is not toxic, non-flammable, lead and formaldehyde free and does not
contain surface contaminating silicones, making it a desirable coating for interior or exterior use. May be used on
painted surfaces and may be painted over when dry. Dries clear and does not discolor. This sealer is
recommended for use on porous materials such as concrete, stucco, brick, block, terrazzo and unglazed tile. Also
excellent as a wood sealer.

Timber-Pro UV Deck & Fence Finish
Timber Pro’s “Deck & Fence Formula”, is a transparent fence and deck stain that is naturally tough but different
from other typical wood sealers. This is truly a green building product that is popular among all consumers
because it makes fence and deck maintenance a lot easier.
Timber-Pro’s Deck & Fence Formula is the result of sixteen years of research. This unique wood finish will end your
search for an envirosafe product that really holds up. It will protect your outdoor wood with durable penetrating
renewable – oils that are carried deep into the wood by water. Once the water backs out during the drying
process it leaves behind a naturally tough wood protectant with very low odor at only 93 gr per litre VOC content.
Renewable-oil based... yet water borne, a winning combination. Our bio-oil resins bond and cure into a hard,
non-sticky finish that will not attract dirt, dust, or spores so it will not promote mildew like many other waxy or oily
wood sealers. The fact that it penetrates, then dries and bonds is why it lasts so long, protecting your deck or fence
from the inside out.
Timber Pro’s Deck & Fence Formula repels water and stabilizes your wood without the hazardous chemicals found
in a wood preservative. It is so effective, many even treat boat docks with Timber Pro’s Deck & Fence Formula. This
fence and deck sealer also contains inorganic nano-particle UV reflectors and absorbers to reduce the fading
and deterioration caused by the sun.
Wood Maintenance: Timber Pro UV is a hard-drying, matte finish made from NATURAL OILS AND RESINS. The finish will
"sheet" rather than bead water. Natural resins harden and stabilize the wood. Keep the deck clean with an
occasional light powerwashing or mild wood cleaner such as Clean & Brite. DO NOT USE BLEACH-BASED CLEANERS.
The tint in Timber Pro UV lays mostly on surface fibers to act as a layer of sunscreen. Tint will eventually begin to
break down and fade. Examine your deck periodically for fading. Before noticeable fading occurs, clean and
apply a maintenance coat. If you wait too long, the surface will begin to gray. BRAND NEW DECKS may need to
be re-coated once more within the first year. New wood will not absorb a sufficient amount of Timber Pro UV to
hold the color for extended periods. In harsh weather areas, a deck may need to be coated every six months for
the first two years, after which it should be treated every 18-24 months.
Note: Any penetrating finish will cover erratically around wood knots. Pale or light areas surrounding knots are not
due to faulty stain. Wood has a natural tendency to absorb the finish more deeply around knots.
Coverage: New, unseasoned decks: 200-250 ft² per gallon net (1 coat). Older, weathered decks: 100-150 ft² per
gallon net (2 coats)
Preparation: On NEW DECKS, mill glaze and construction dirt MUST be removed in order for stain to penetrate. For
optimum stain performance on new wood, sand with 80 grit paper to slightly roughen surface fibers. Use Clean &
Brite and rinse with a power washer.
On OLDER DECKS, remove any dirt, mildew, weathered wood fibers and old sealers. Clean & Brite will remove all
dirt, mildew and mild weathering. Strip & Brite will remove severe weathering and old oil-based finishes.
Allow deck to dry completely before applying stain. Mask off all non-wood surfaces.
PLEASE NOTE that Deck & Fence Formula does not need to be stripped, only cleaned, before re-application.
First Application: Apply stain to small sections of decking using a low-pressure, garden-type sprayer. To avoid
overlap marks, work full length of deck boards in each section. Backbrush with a large soft-bristle brush, feathering
out at edge of section. This technique also works stain between boards for a finished look. Make sure all puddles
and excess are worked into wood. This application technique will provide more even results than using a paint
pad or roller. Apply stain to railings with a brush. Lay cardboard on floorboards to protect from drips. Let first coat
dry completely before applying another coat. Older wood will absorb more stain and should require additional
coats. However, if initial application dries with a surface sheen, wait (several months) for sheen to diminish before
recoating. Brand new wood should require only one coat.
Second Application: When first coat is dry, recoat deck and work puddles and excess into wood completely.
Once the second coat dries, there may be a slight sheen indicating that wood pores are full. Sheen will gradually
diminish. If no sheen is evident, wood may be so dry and porous that it requires another coat.
Cleanup: Clean tools immediately with soap and water. If Deck & Fence Formula dries on tools, clean with a
solution of one part Strip & Brite to four parts water.
Application Tips: Wood surface should be cool for best results. Do not apply Deck & Fence Formula in direct sun in
temperatures over 72° F. Product will dry too quickly without penetrating if the wood is too warm. To cool wood
surface, mist very lightly with cold water and let dry before applying. If wood surface has not dried sufficiently
after cleaning or rain, stain will immediately turn milky-white upon application. Allow wood longer dry time before
attempting application. Recommended application on new wood is one coat of semi-transparent stain. Older
wood will require 1-2 coats of stain. A third coat of stain may be necessary on extremely dry and porous wood.

Tried and True Wood Finishes
Tried & True Wood Finishes are based in a polymerized linseed oil system. Essentially polymerization is the process
that the oil goes through (naturally) as it turns from a liquid to a solid. When you apply Tried & True heat; light, and
polishing complete that process, leaving a clear, thin, flexible finish. In addition to the environmental benefits
involved, our products benefitfrom what is left out:petroleum solvents act as plasticizers on linseed oil. Metallic
driers tend tomake the finish dry from the outside in, leaving a gummy undersurface. Tried & True WoodFinishes are
longer lasting and more durable because there are no solvents or driers used. All Tried& True wood Finishes are
clear coatings. They work over well preparedsurfaces, colored with stains or dyes, or on their own for a deep,
natural sheen.
Danish Oil is pure, moderately polymerized linseed oil. This penetrating oil will produce a beautiful satin sheen.
Apply to kitchenware, cabinets, or your interior woodwork for an easy and economical finish.
Original Wood Finish is highly polymerized linseed oil combined with beeswax. It dries to a fine finish reminiscent of
the "patina" on well cared for antique furniture, yet it is durable and easy to use. Doors and windows, paneling
and furniture are all common uses. It can be used to revive any existing finish.
Varnish Oil is highly polymerized linseed oil fortified with natural resin varnish. This is a semi-gloss topcoat that builds
durability and sheen with each application. It has excellent abrasion and scratch resistance and takes a high
polish. Applications are primarily to furniture (including table tops) and kitchen counter tops.
Application: Apply a thin coat. Just wet the surface. It is almost impossible to use too little. Allow the finish to stand
on the surface (Danish Oil about 5 minutes. Original Wood Finish and Varnish Oil about 1 hour.)
Wipe down the surface with a clean, lint free cloth. (If you are moving finish around, you have used too much.)
Rub the surface until it is completely dry.
Allow to cure 24 hours.
Burnish with 0000 steel wool and/or a soft cloth.
Repeat as desired. Additional coats deepen the shine and increase protection.
Re-coating: Unless the surface receives very hard use, it is not generally necessary to periodically re-oil. If your finish
is showing some wear and tear, just re-apply according to the instructions. Apply to a clean surface. Stripping is
not necessary.

Eco Procote Soycrete and TimberSoy Stains
Soycrete is a professional grade, semi-transparent architectural penetrating concrete stain made from bio-based
soy technology. It is an acid-free, non toxic concrete stain alternative that is ideal for all interior and exterior
porous surfaces such as: concrete, masonry, brick, stucco, fiber cement, rammed earth and natural stone
surfaces. The advanced technology gives a very high rate of coverage (400-600 sq.ft. p/gal) compared to
competitive products.
This penetrating concrete stain produces natural color variations and tones creating a beautiful rich finish unique
to each surface. Unlike traditional concrete stain products or floor paint, there is no film or topical coating to peel,
chip, or to be worn away. Instead of reacting with the concrete surface with a volatile chemical reaction such as
acid staining, the soy ester technology penetrates and absorbs into the substrate surface.
For existing acid stained or integral colored concrete surfaces, Soycrete is an excellent compliment to add
consistent color variations, make repairs or design images such as pictures, logos, etc. Surfaces can be easily and
effectively rejuvenated. With virtually unlimited custom color options, it is also an ideal replacement for topical
paint products used for murals, decorative stone art, stucco, drywall, and brick to achieve a stylish long lasting
integrated finish.
Finish Sealers:Following the stain application, Acri-Soy sealer should be applied to seal and protect the stain with
a lock-in protective sealant that will provide optimum long term protection. You may also elect to install our high
traffic, abrasion resistant zero VOC acrylic-urethane clear coat (EcoTuff), or other finishes such as a high gloss
polyurethane, polyurea, carnauba wax or other compatible finish coats for enhanced performance objectives.
Available Colors: Choose from a variety of ready-mixed standard colors.
Priced at approximately: $46.00 per gallon
